'Stranger Things 5' Volumes 2 and 3: When and Where to Watch the Last Episodes

It's Stranger Things season. Season 5 kicked off the final run of episodes the night before Thanksgiving, setting the stage for a worthwhile holiday break. The action is bigger, the stakes are higher and the threat from the Upside Down has never felt more, well, threatening.

Since the end of season 4 of Netflix's global hit series, fans have been waiting to see how the heroes of Hawkins, Indiana, will take down Vecna and defeat his Demogorgon monsters, once and for all. There's just one problem: Since the events of that finale, the show's big bad all but disappeared. Well, if you watched the first four episodes of season 5, you know that isn't exactly the case. But I'm not here to shell out spoilers.

The fourth episode of Stranger Things 5, which concluded Vol. 1, found Will in an unexpected power position. How will this turn of events impact the hunt for Vecna and the final boss battle, when it arrives? Your guess is as good as mine, but it seems like Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Steve, Hopper, Joyce and all the rest, are in for one heck of an adventure -- and that's taking into account all the other traumatic stuff they've had to deal with.

Stranger Things 5, volume 2 and volume 3 episode schedule

Season 5 of Stranger Things has two volumes remaining, with Vol. 2 dropping Friday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day. The final volume, which serves as the series finale, arrives on Wednesday, Dec. 31, New Year's Eve. All of these episodes premiere at unusual times, compared to the previous seasons, landing on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

The finale episode will be available to watch in movie theaters in the US and Canada, so be sure to buy your tickets if you want to experience it among fellow fans.

How to watch Stranger Things 5 on Netflix

You can watch Stranger Things with a Netflix subscription. The streamer raised its prices earlier this year, which means the Standard with ads plan now costs $8 a month. If you want to watch ad-free, the Standard plan is $18 and the Premium plan is $25 a month.
