'A few concerned messages say he’s too young for this…' Ruby captioned before and after photos of Rocket's new hair.
In one picture, he sported a head of voluminous golden brown locks which Ruby has since dyed a peroxide blonde.
In the after picture, he showed off his new blonde hair and accessorised with one pearl earring.

After concerned parents felt the need to voice their opinions to Ruby said: 'I personally think he’s too young to own an iPad or a phone. But hey, my family’s a little different from yours,' she wrote. 'I’d rather my kids express themselves creatively and feel safe asking me to help them do it'

'I’d rather my kids express themselves creatively and feel safe asking me to help them do it.
'Hair is just hair—it grows, it changes, and for some, it’s part of who they are. Bold cuts, bright colors, or nothing at all—it’s all good.'
Ending the statement on a lighter note, the Instagram model said, 'Really though, my main concern is that my mum / nana is 100% going to kill me.'
Many parents rushed to Ruby's defence in the comments section.
'Did this to my brother every summer since he was six. He loved himself sick,' one wrote.
'Absolutely agree… hair is hair, we can cut it, dye it, whatever. It’ll grow back. My daughter wanted to dye her hair pink, blue and purple when she was four. If you can’t have unicorn hair when you’re four, what’s the point!' said another.
'I learnt over the last 16 years of being a mum you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t, so screw the world and live YOUR life,' one more person wrote.
'When I first saw this I thought the earring… nothing to do with hair,' influencer Faith Irving commented, to which Ruby replied that her son 'isn’t allowed to wear the pearl charm to school.'
Ruby recently fired back at critics of her racy topless poolside video

This isn't the first time the mum-of-three has defended herself from critics, using her trademark brash humour to call out mum-shaming.
In September, Ruby fired back at fans who body shamed her after she shared a racy poolside video.
She faced away from the camera and covered her hands with her chest as she walked into the pool topless during her relaxing afternoon.
As a stream of negative comments on her G-string clad body rolled in, she fired back, 'So apparently I don't fit the typical mum ideals that you feel comfortable with.
'Just because I'm a mum doesn't mean I hung up my heels! It's 2024, and I can still rock confidence, [what]ever I want to wear, and a little bit of sexy while juggling nappies and Netflix.
'Motherhood may be wild, but that doesn't mean I can't be too!'
The 31-year-old has amassed a loyal following of 256,000, and a slew of colourful headlines off the back of unfiltered stories about her life.
Ruby made headlines in 2020 when she famously held up a Jetstar flight to indulge in oysters at a fancy restaurant.
But she was praised and criticised in equal measure when a fan asked the model how she maintained her ultra-thin physique back in 2019. And Ruby did the unthinkable and answered honestly.
'I did a lot of cocaine, like a lot, so basically I just smoked cigarettes, had long blacks and did coke,' she said.
Then 25, the model weighed 54kg.
She went on to say that many people never really understood how she could eat and still be so thin.
'I need to be careful what I’m saying here, but in the influencer industry, everyone loves the baggie,' she told fans.
'That is how most physiques are maintained … that’s how my physique was maintained.
'People don’t realise how easy it is to hide something. Whether it’s addiction, depression, anxiety, it’s easy to hide those things.'
More recently, she asked her followers to try and spend less time comparing themselves to others online and said her weight loss can be attributed to 'extreme stress.'
