Request Deletion of Your Personal Data
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data from our systems.
What will be deleted:
- Account information (name, email, profile data)
- Comments and user-generated content
- Newsletter subscription data
- IP logs associated with your account
- Contact form submission history
What will NOT be deleted:
- Published news articles (anonymous public content)
- Server logs required for security (anonymized after 90 days)
How to request deletion:
- Email us: Send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account
- Include:
• Subject line: “Data Deletion Request – [Your Email]”
• Your registered email address
• Confirmation that you want all personal data deleted
• Optional: reason for deletion (helps us improve) - Verification: We will email you to verify your identity before processing
Processing time: Up to 30 days from verification
Important notes:
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to subscribed newsletters
- Comments you posted will be removed or anonymized
- We may retain minimal data if legally required
